Capuchin Community Services

Milwaukee's Capuchin Community Services serves the poor, the hungry, and the homeless with its two locations: House of Peace and St. Ben's Community Meal. Based on Gospel values, our Capuchin ministry serves the community by assisting families and individuals in meeting their spiritual, material, and emotional needs. An emergency food pantry is available for our working poor and chronically poor. A hot, homemade dinner six nights a week is available for our homeless and chronically poor with over 100,000 meals served each year. Also available to our guests is our Capuchin Clothes Closet, a department store setting which provides our guests a dignified experience. Guest advocate services include assistance with co-pays, IDs, birth certificates, and more. A legal clinic and medical services are also available on-site plus social workers.
